Safe to operate, protects fragile circuitry
 -936, incorporates a number of features to enhance operator safely and protect fragile circuitry. The soldering Iron outputs a low 24 volts, and is completely Isolated from the AC line by an insulated transformer. The soldering tip itself is directly grounded, and a full-wave, zero-crossing switch system is used to turn the heating element on and off.
